new group

 I am working with Noah Sherman again, however I am also working with Dartamian Dolorean as well. This engaging project encourages assignees to perform their own tasks, but I find it  most beneficial to try this project with hard-working partners like Noah and Dartamian. This is because introducing new members enhances collaboration and resolves disputes due to  the odd number of participants. This introduction  also prevents production errors from slipping through  cracks and introducing new opinions into our discussions. I also felt that it was necessary to introduce new members in music videos, which usually have a large number of actors and different camera angles. All of this is possible by adding another person. Noah is one of my best friends, but I chose him  because he has the qualities that a good project partner should have. He is a very intelligent student with a GPA of 4.0 or above. His work ethic goes through the roof when it comes to schoolwork. He always gets what he needs to complete on time, which is always done  to the highest standards. I've worked with Noah on a project in the past, but he's always been out of the way to help the group do whatever it takes. Knowing that he is a great team player gives me confidence  because I can rely on him. I'm confident that it's loose and will minimize any  shooting or editing problems. He showed me over and over again that he had the ability to solve the most difficult problems that came in his way. Looking at his previous project, I also worked with Dartamian  because  his editing skills and abilities were much more advanced than I was and he was able to significantly improve the production quality of my group. I decided to work. This was entirely entrusted to me while Dartamian was working on my previous commercial, which continued to provide his acting and made suggestions that would only improve our project. Dartamian is also  a good friend of mine and it's a lot of fun to spend time with, so it's a lot of fun to make music videos no matter how long it takes. The main reason I chose these group members is  chemistry because they already have friendships. It will be easier for them to work with each other than to find new group members they will work with. The song we decided to use is Maps by Maroon Five because it is a good pace to follow and the lyrics are perfect for storytelling.

Genre Re-Adjustment: Project Blog

   Our group realized minor flaws in our film as we continue through this production process. The biggest issue that has come to surface is that our genre isn't represented as well as we thought it was going to be. I did not think this was going to be an issue at the start. In fact, I thought the mystery genre was the perfect fit. As I am watching how the production is unfolding, it seems as if our problem is that we can't necessarily get the feel of a true mystery film in our 2 minute clip. This means, our film's conventions don't completely align with those of a real mystery. I still believe that it can fit the genre, but giving it the title of a mystery-thriller would be more fitting. The camera angles and movements used in our film are those typically used in mystery films. For example, we use extreme close-ups on objects to provide a mysterious feel about them. Our Pitch

A person receives a briefcase and is unaware of its contents, unbeknownst to him he is being followed.          This pitch has great potential because of its ability to harness the unknown and be action packed in a short period of time. The pitch also conforms well to the settings we have available due to our access to the urban setting. Furthermore this pitch doesn't require props inaccessible to the group making it a great candidate. However, this pitch struggles with a lack of dialogue and it will be difficult to facilitate conversation throughout. I believe that despite this the pitch's positive aspects outweigh the negative ones because its exciting and is mysterious.
