Finished Editing

I continued to edit my film today. There was not as much left to edit as I originally thought. One thing I had to do was edit in the non-diegetic sound we had gotten from YouTube. Both of the sound tracks I chose were hours long with many different tempos within the track. The first thing I did was evaluate which scenes were going to need suspenseful music. Then, I went to the suspenseful track and listened to the whole thing. I did this to decide which portion of the music would fit certain scenes of the film. Once I figured that out I actually cut out the portion of music and saved it as a file. Then, added it on to the scene in the editing software. At first, there were difficulties regarding the audio file size. It said the file was too large, so I reduced the audio quality to make the file slightly smaller. Then it worked just fine and I didn't encounter any more issues like that. Now that I had done what I needed for the suspenseful scenes I had to finish the action scenes. So, I listened to the full action music track. Next, I had to do what I did earlier which was to figure out which scenes needed action music. Then, I had to cut the audio and save it to different files. Lastly, I had to add all the audio to the scenes. Once I did that, I rewatched to make sure I had finished properly. Turns out I wasn't, I made typos while writing the title and director's name. Finally, I just retyped those words and was done editing.
