I am working with Noah Sherman and Dartamian Dorelien again because we did well last time. On such a big project there is a lot of editing, filming, and scheduling to do. It would be a lot to handle all by myself, so i figured doing it with my hardworking friends would be a good idea. It would be a lot of stress for one person. So, that is why I am choosing to work with 2 people to give me help, it’s not too many or too little people. Noah is the smartest and hardest working person I know. He always completes his work on time to the best of his ability. Also, he’s been getting better at learning how to operate a camera to film from varieties of angles. He has improved his acting a lot as well because he acts more relaxed which seems more natural. He also practices memorizing lines for when the final task comes. I am Felipe Lopez and I am a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am enrolled into the AICE Cambridge program and am currently working towards my AICE diploma. Many people say they admire my work ethic and how I put my all into everything I do. Also, people would describe me as a guy who is pretty quiet, funny, and very empathetic. While all that is good, I love to play football as well because it allows me to free my mind and ball with the people I love. I started playing when I was very young because my dad is Mexican and they love soccer. So, he would take me to the park and we would mess around until I was about 7 and then I started playing competitively. I was improving rapidly and so I knew that I could be really good as long as I consistently trained. I did so, and now I play for my high school soccer team. Although, I do not play other sports but I love watching a lot of them. I am crazy about sports and very passionate about my favorite teams. While I do love sports, I ...

 

I am so excited we finally finished our production and our final product is here! It was an eventful, fun filming experience in which I improved my editing, acting, and filming skills. I believe our final project is just as good as we hoped it would turn out. Worked very hard to get all the logistics of filming to fit into all of our schedules. It was a fun process to experience and learn from with my friends. Our song choice’s lyrics illustrate the plot of the music video. I am proud of my group mates for stepping up to this difficult task. I’m satisfied with the effort they put in. It was an amazing growing opportunity for all of us to further our knowledge of film making.  I’m looking forward to working with the same group in future projects.

  After finishing my days of filming and preparation, I started the editing process for my music video today. While the day of editing was thrilling, it was also relieving because the previous challenges that had built up to this point had made the day of editing a checkpoint that signified the end of production mistakes and prop misplacement. The first step in the editing process was to select the desired clips and arrange them in the desired order; this was, as always, the simplest part of the procedure. After completing this phase, I watched the raw unedited version of the music video, which, while uncomfortable, was reassuring because, like the beginning of the editing process, the first viewing revealed the first indicators of a great production. I immediately viewed the unedited version two more times after viewing the raw compilation of clips, noting the parts that needed cutting.   After the shoot was successful, my groupmates and I started reviewing the footage we shot the day before. This process took about 30 minutes to screen all the footage and finally decide which footage to use for the editing process. Next, we decided on the order of the  music videos and which scenes to include. Overall, this wasn't too difficult, as only a few scenes were deleted.   However, this process revealed a major flaw in the production process: two mistaken scenes. Those missing scenes were in  the music video section where a friend of the hero was unknowingly knocked. At first, this issue seemed minor, but as I continued to watch the video, I found that it didn't meet the standards I expected. Shortly thereafter, I decided that the best decision was to  reshoot the badly shot scene. To that end, I quickly contacted all the actors involved in the affected scene and agreed to shoot on the backup day. At the end of the   backup day, an acto...

  I started filming the project on the morning of December 4th and wanted to complete the filming process that same day. The first thing I did was to make sure that all the actors understood the task at hand and understood the changes in the storyboard. Then I cataloged the props  available and immediately rushed to CVS to get a bag of chips to make the hangout session more realistic. Shortly thereafter, I put the props in the desired location, prepared the camera, and prepared the set.   After all this was  done and the production process went on, the first few scenes were shot as planned and looked great. The only problem we faced was the occasional flow of people in and out of the clubhouse  we were filming. However, this issue wasn't very effective because we tried to record the club's spectators in areas where the main course was hidden from view.
